Adobe Creative Cloud for Education

Adobe Creative Cloud for Education is Adobe's professional suite tailored for Italian schools, universities and ITS. It includes more than 20 desktop and mobile applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, XD, Fresco, Acrobat Pro), the Substance 3D tools, Adobe Express and access to Adobe Firefly (generative AI).

Unlike consumer or open-source alternatives, Creative Cloud for Education is the de-facto standard in the creative industry: from film post-production to advertising agencies, from editorial print to product design. Learning Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects means learning the tools students will actually use in their professional future, not educational versions to uninstall on the first day at work.

In graphic-arts technical institutes and art high schools the suite is essential to run PCTO programmes with local agencies. In middle schools it enables pedagogically sustainable video editing (Premiere) and music production (Audition) labs. In ITS for communications, audiovisual and multimedia it covers the entire professional production workflow.

The centralised Admin Console lets the IT technician manage licences, distribute apps on school devices, monitor usage and revoke access at year-end. Licences are "named" (per user, not per device), letting students work from home with their own account.

Firefly is built into the main apps and enables AI generation of images, background expansion, object removal and vector generation. For Adobe, AI skills are now a core part of creative work: the Education suite includes them at no extra cost.
