ClassVR Xplorer is the standalone VR headset designed by Avantis Education specifically for the classroom, not for gaming or home use. The difference shows from the unboxing: no separate controllers, no individual setup phase, reinforced materials for repeated use and a teacher console that manages the whole class at once.
The headset includes a library of more than 1,000 educational experiences mapped to Italian and international curricula, organised by age group (3-7, 8-12, 13-18) and subject. They range from exploring the human body to virtual visits of museums and archaeological sites, from chemistry simulations to immersive world geography.
The teacher console (on tablet or PC) launches the same experience on 30 headsets simultaneously, lets you see in real time what students are looking at, pauses the whole class and directs collective gaze to a specific point. This turns a VR headset from an individual tool into a true classroom tool.
In primary it is used for geographic and historical exploration (e.g. ocean floors, ancient Egypt), safely and with short session times. In middle school it extends to Earth science, biology and art. In upper secondary it enables physics, astronomy and vocational training labs.
Kyron supplies ClassVR Xplorer in packs of 8 or 30 headsets with charging/transport case, teacher training, always-updated library access and service contracts.
